Even watching the match from the comfort of your living room you can feel that the supporters aren't bothered anymore. There were even a couple of them caught on camera exchanging jokes at the end when we were going out of the cup.

even if he does go, who do you want in? there is nobody of the quality that want available, you (the knockers) sound exactly like those sos tools wanting action with no thought to what happens after that

get behind him and give him till the end of the season, after that the board will make their own decision

Why and how has he turned from a great loveable man to a complete an utter imposter.

Why won't he admit we are and were rubbish!!!

the problem for me with Rafa is that he is an enigma.

We have seen his teams that he has built look the best in Europe, and yet there is always one crucial weakness. last season was a tale of oh so close, and without all those draws we would have won.

When he won the champs league, we looked amazing in parts and then in the same season we were dire. WE appear to suffer the bad patches longer, which is probably down to many of the average purchases he has made.

          kyrgiakos
          degen
          gonzales
          etc
          etc
          mediocre players.

to my mind he tries to be too technical in assessing players and his system. Sometimes he pulls it off but its not an easy thing to do.

the best liverpool teams under Rafa have been relentless machines that grind down and control the opposition.

This is not easy to recreate with young overpaid footballers week in week out.

What I am saying is I dont think Rafa can manage to make a team consistent enough to win a league with his approach.
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

How about Big Ron or Dave Bassett? They both love a relegation scrap.

Carheex, by the way, you should post more, not just when we're losing.

But you've got a point. I'd say bring in King Kenny, then if it doesn't work there's always Roy of the Rovers, Tommy Smith, Mark Lawrenson, Phil Neal , Joey Jones, Jamie Redknapp who could all do a job better than Rafa. And they're all part of our 'legacy', and are so knowledgeable about the team when they're asked about why we're failing.

              Not short of options no?

I think we should appoint John Durnin, his punditry on LFC TV demonstrates his immense nous and tactical foresight

If you can't laugh, what can you do? In another part of the ground, they were splitting wrists - takes all sorts

He was one of those 5 a side players no? I remember seeing him in one of those 'past players' 5 a side tournaments back in Mauritius.

Can't remember if he was a former great or not though.

Well, I was being highly sarcastic.

I wanted to provoke a reaction, because I was labelled as someone who wasn't 'enough of a supporter' by a former well known poster because I told him I could digest a bad result in a number of hours, while at the same time he would take weeks to do the same thing.

we seem to have Rafa The Robot in charge these days. Ever since he got a slapping from Hicks for criticising the owners (remember the tracksuit and the "I am just the coach" interview), he just seems to repeat the party mantra "we must work hard", "we must be positive" etc.

It seems that he has either been threatened not to criticise the owners and the quality of the squad or has been promised something... The only explanations I can think of are; that he was threatened with the sack without a payout if he kept moaning, that he has been promisd funds if he keeps a positive demeanour in the meantime or that he was promised that he would be given control of the academy and Parry got rid of, if he promised to toe the party line in future and he is now keeping to his side of the bargain...

He's being asked the same bollocks each time we lose, and he tries to do his best by answering them by their own standards too (the media/journos). I think that's why we see him being incoherent after a bad defeat.

If I was him, I wouldn't be bothered doing interviews at the end of matches. Do like Ferguson, just storm out and leave it to Sammy (a former legend - one of our 'own') answer the questions.

i am just a bit gobsmacked by it - the performances this season have just been woeful - it's not just down to one thing, it can't be - the whole club looks ****ed, we are on our knees. - If LFC was a horse it would be shot.
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
