    The problem is the fans...

As fans, we have too much expectation on the club, based on previous and irrelevant successes. When did we last win a trophy? When did we last win the league? We've NEVER even won the premiership so why we're disappointed that we won't win it this year is an absolute mystery.
Financially and commercially we're unable to compete so why the surprise that we don't make lots of big money signings?

The players we have are as good as we're entitled to attract based on what we have won over the last 10-15 years. Our manager is more than good enough for us and actually, probably deserves to be at a richer club competing for the top honours.
Face it - we aren't the force we once were and are unlikely to be for a very long time. Until we stop expecting the team to punch WELL above their weight, the disappointments will continue.

That is the thing though - its not that we are disappointed that we won't win the league - its that we'll be disappoi9nted because we have finished outside the top 4. And it has everything to do with tactics - and that is Rafa's department.

We played a ****ing Championship side. Twice. And looked ****. Twice.

Got **** all to do with money, or expectations, or anything.

        Spot on.

And a struggling Championship side at that, who outplayed us in both games.

Its not the expectation. It is the performances and the inability of the coaching staff and management to address this.

          1 We cant defend
2 We cant take decent corners or set pieces
3 There is no attacking guile in the team
4 This is the worst season in 20 years.

People are burying their head in the sands here. We are a ****ing laughing stock at the moment. Teams cannot wait to play us FFS. Stoke are licking their lips in anticipation.

                  Thats just not ****ing right.

If this **** doesn't end soon we will go down and down and down....until we're reminiscing with Forest fans about the glory days.
