Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres both face scans later on Thursday after being injured during Liverpool's shock FA Cup exit at the hands of Reading on Wednesday night.
The Reds saw their star duo hurt on a night when the Anfield faithful saw their side humbled 2-1 after extra-time by the Championship side.
Under-pressure Rafa Benitez told the club's website afterwards: "Both players will have a scan tomorrow (Thursday) and we have to wait for the doctor. Gerrard has a problem with his hamstring and Torres twisted his knee.
"Yossi Benayoun also has some problems with his ribs so again we will have to wait."
