Those cunts were bouncing our lads around the whole game in a, successful, attempt to keep us unsettled. Ref offered Torres no protection whatsoever. If Torres does decide to leave then it'll be far more about his treatment by refs than anything else IMO.Originally posted by -V- View PostLiverpool today revealed the extent of the injuries sustained by Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard and Yossi Benayoun against Reading last night.
A Club spokesman said: "Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres both underwent scans earlier today after coming off in the FA Cup tie against Reading.
"Steven has a hamstring strain and will be out for a fortnight, while Fernando has torn a cartilage in his right knee. The injury will require surgery and he is expected to be sidelined for six weeks.
"Yossi Benayoun also suffered a fractured rib in the game and will be unavailable for between three and four weeks."
Were screwed

Cometh the hour, cometh the man - Pacheco. Stick him in as a straight replacement for Stevie, playing behind Babel, Maxi on the right, whoever's fit on the left.Originally posted by PTP View Postunreal isn't it - the whole club is just falling apart. torres and gerrard haven't been right for weeks, johnson and benayoun have been struggling, riera not been fit.
it's one big cluster **** - and wiht no money we are screwed - time for someone from somewhere to step up and provide us with one beacon of hope, a miracle

it's horrible isn't it - to be honest imo it's been coming - we have papered over the cracks for too long now. Everything has just collapsed in on big heap of dog turdOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostAlways our top players. Always. Torres, Gerrard, Johnson, Riera (don't care what people say, he's in our best XI)...continually ****ing injured. Worst season ever, not just for us but I don't think any club has ever had a season like this. If it didn't make me a glory hunter I'd just walk away from the sport and the club now. I just don't need this ****. However, we'll all stick it out....
A mate of mine has given it all up in the last month or so.
least we have that striker who is an experienced international who has played champions league football that we picked on free to fall back on.
****, no wait we just sold voronin
Andriy, come back please haha

Honestly I'd consider giving it all up if I knew how. I just have no idea how I'd go about doing it. It's just instinctive in me, the club's in my blood.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostAlways our top players. Always. I suppose I have made baby steps towards doing this recently, I didn't watch the match last night and chose instead to go to a pub that never shows sport. I'm so glad I did as I'd be even more miserable than I am now otherwise.
I suppose I'm going through a slow trial separation from the game I used to love so much. I'd like to point out it's not just our own collapse, it's due to the way the game is going in general, and it's gradually wearing me down.
****ing hell I sound like Marky

has to be doesn't it? - he can't do any worse - he might just might do something better, be it something indvidual, or by waking up someone currently in the first XI who is struggling.Originally posted by calvoboy View PostCometh the hour, cometh the man - Pacheco. I thinks it time we accept it and write this season off and start again in August.
Lets be honest, and I know it may come across as being defeatist but with this news now, the impetus that now sits with Manchester City, and the superior position and (fit) resources that Villa and Spurs have, we will not be in the top 4 this season.
Time to move and and start making plans for the new season.Play Ball!!!!!!!
