From todays pc its quite obvious to see that Rafa is not the broken man we're being led to believe. His appearance in the post match interview midweek was probably down to the fact he was giving a bollocking to the players. Pissed off but not defeated.

Maybe not. However, he's got his **** considerably more together than it was the other night. He's trying to be upbeat, lighthearted and not wallow in himself. I also think it had the effect of maybe drawing some of the venom out of the room.

Nowt wrong with self depricating humor. Nowt wrong at all. It was probably hilarious in Spanish

This is the thing about Rafa, he'll never ever give up, he won't be affected by external pressure and he has a humility about him that endears him to the majority of our fans. He also tends to produce something when he desperately needs it, hence why I think we'll finish in the top 4.

He is perfect for the club, I just wish things would turn around, and quickly.

Exactly. Anyway I laughed when he pulled the piece of paper out of his pocket, with that cheeky little grin on his face. He's accused of being an emotionless robot all the ****ing time, then he does this and some people are on his case anyway. Can't win.

            Well played Rafa.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Actually I think you'll find it was blue and the whole carrot thing was proven to be an absolute lie.

Not sure about the Giraffe though. Must have been Fredo.

The poor yellow ****er. Did you opt for cremation in the end? I suppose it would have had to be a bigger coffin, what with the long neck and all.

He's been treated like a turd, and rightly so. Someone just stepped on him, wiped the sole of his boot and that was it.

It's a shame really as I've always thought the lack of giraffes in Newcastle was something of an oversight be the regional zoo planning agency (although we did have a Lion park in Lampton and aren't too far from the chav filled fields of Flamingo Land). Still I always harboured dreams that we may import one from somewhere else but everytime a giraffe dies those chances probably reduce. To hear that one has fallen due to neglect is truly heartbreaking.

Does ringing bells work for the whole giraffe resurrection thing, or does it only work with fairies?

Despite the way we are playing, its hard to not like the guy.

I really do hope he turns it around...but i just can't see it.
