    Poll - Should Rafa stay?

I was just wondering the overall feeling regarding Rafa. I dont live in Liverpool so whats the general opinion locally, should he stay or go?

I listen to TalkSport and it seems every Red who calls in says they want Rafa sacking, however im not sure all these callers are genuine as 80% of callers talk rubbish on there as do 50% of the presenters.

Let him get to the end of the season then sack him even if we get 4.th

Regardless of what happens he deserves 1 more season, he will get it right.

Needs to go if we don't get 4th.

            No excuses for that.

Just a point about your signature mate - if he'd been backed properly, etc...you might be right.

Has he not been backed sufficiently to be finishing ahead of Spurs, Villa and Birmingham, without much bother?

Has he ever finished behind any of these teams?

no but spurs and city are far far stronger this year if he could of bought more in the summer rather than weaken the squad then maybe we would be above them

By that logic, he's also never finished above Burnley

Do you not think the squad we currently have is (should be) easily capable of finishing above Spurs, without any struggle?

Reina, Carra, Johnson, Agger, Mascherano, Aquilani, Benayoun, Gerrard Torres - that's 9 11ths of a fantastic side. So why arent we delivering?

It's one of two things for me. Either the players arent good enough - well, the manager chose to buy them so that's down to him. Or he's not getting enough out of them - which is down to him too.

Either way, it's the manager's responsibility.

Rafa had a net spend of about £2m last summer, City spent £100m+ surely something had to give?

I don't deny that this has been a piss poor season but based on Rafa's track record im 99% certain its just a blip and one-off.

Nobody criticises Wenger but since Rafa has arrived in 2004 Liverpool have done better than Arsenal.

how many more of these friggin polls are we going to get?

He's our manager and it ain't our choice. I say so long as he is get behind him. I've got my doubts like anyone else, but I still hope he can turn it around and fully expect that he will.
                        Really?

I think you're underestimating just how disasterous this season's been so far.

If we dont get in the CL, that's it for us as a club which competes for top honours.

As for Arsenal - they're paying for their new ground and will soon reap the rewards. If we had a new ground sorted during this debacle of a season, there'd be some kind of worthwhile trade off but as we all know, that's not the case.
