Not a bad half. Should help steady the nerves a bit. Lee Mason is a cock, has been all season. Need to build on that first half performance and push on for the winner.

Lucas had a good half, great to see Mascher back in there, Degen and N'Gog ****e so far. And when did Skrtel completely forget how to deal with a ball in the air, and when is he going to remember? He keeps totally misjudging the flight, so even when he (rarely) wins the header it doesn't go where he wants it to.

we dont have an attacking threat. N'gog was never going to get any change from those centrebacks.

i would have played pacheco or aquiliani behind kuyt and maxi on right. Although both maybe a bit to quick thinking for kuyt

Agreed, he is a disgrace. Not only with the penalty but when he over ruled the linesman and gave a corner when the linesman clearly had a better view.

Pleased with our defending first half, we've nullified their threat. Rafa has got the tactics spot on - Kyriagos was excellent he wins most things in the air, we need to be more confident going forward though, Ngog is losing too many balls he needs to hold it better, then our play will be more fluid.
