    Right Rafa for an MBE

Is that better ? THere is no point arguing with you because you cant see reality. Keane was an international footballer when he signed for us and a premiership star. He should have been the missing link but rafa destroyed his confidence by subbing him constantly and by putting him on the bench even if he played well the game previous all because he didnt buy barry and keane didnt fit into his master plan.

Craig bellamy had an outstanding season before he joined us and was never ever given a proper chance. the quote that came out was that he only ever told bellamy to run all the time when he finally got on. He just wanted bellamy to work hard and craig to be fair to him has proved that he is a genuine quality player.

Babel - is a brainless turd but he has pace, has power and can win matches single handedly. No matter what he does he will never be given a run of matches and even if he played well he was sub next match.

Crouch - fine, but he deserved better than what he got. FFS prefering kuyt to crouch is a joke.

There's no point carrying this on because you believe that all the players he messed around were **** anyway and it doesnt matter. But you are totally wrong.
I am not saying give him an award, don't be ridiculous, I am saying he can turn it around and that none of the players you are arguing for, except Crouch are players I want to have back in the team.

Bellamy played as many games for us as he did for Blackburn the season before, he just scored half as many.

Keane is an international footballer yes, but he was still not good enough.

Babel doesn't get involved and his attitude is a disgrace. He never plays well except as a sub either, he is awful when he starts and needs to be shipped out.

    Crouch wanted to go.

cannot agree more...yet whilst I accept that LFC has been below par...the two penalties not given today means FOUR consecutive penalties not given to the club in the last games: (against Arsenal, against A Villa and two today). The Whelans and Souness of this world can hate Rafa all they like, yet referees must be fair; they dont have the prerpgative to hate the club and Rafa too. I challege anybody from all divisions to name and shame a worse treatment by referees...since the Birmingham game refs are refusing to grant a ****in penalty. No ref will dare do this to Arsenal, Chelski or Manure. Politics and football go hand in hand

Aquilani, still getting match fitness and played 120 mins on Wed.
        Maxi, only just got here.
Pacheco would have got slaughtered in a game like today, that is a very ill-thought out suggestion.
Why put Pacheco on the bench??

If Aquilani isnt fit for a game by now he shoudlnt be aat on the bench.

        When do you play rodriguez?

Come on. Rafa parked the bus today and it backfired...

Pacheco if we had a 2 goal lead

Maxi to bring on later in the game as we did.

To be fair to some of the guys that played today, on the whole they gave hard workman like performances, that being said is that really good enough for LFC? I don't think so.

The team at the moment just reminds me of Houllier's last season in charge, a lack of confidence in their ability and long ball tactics and to be honest a manager that now looks a little out of idea's

Today at Stoke we've had to put out a side to contain them, we've no real flair and everything is so predicatable slightly understandable I guess with the obvious lack of confidence but to get to this situation where we have to do this is just bewildering.

You look for the positives and you can say there was the hard work from the team but honestly as a LFC fan of 26 years (I was 5 when I first went to Anfield) I truely expect more than that from our side.

Rafa I feel has given it his best efforts and will be remembered as bringing in No 5 but perhaps he needs to take a look at things himself and ask the question " is this good enough for LFC".

do you remember how late on????

The team selection today was indefensible.

It was negative. We were not playing united away or real Madrid in the second leg of a CL Semi after a 1-0 victory at Anfield.

              It was stoke.

It is not like we had much option and that is pretty much how most games at Stoke are played to be fair.

It was a team with low confidence and little option.

I totally agree with the rest of the Babel comments, but this made me laugh

The only mistake today was the Maxi substitution. It was a positive move but funnily enough I think today we needed to stay tight, not open up the game and see out the result.

4 full backs on the pitch! 8 defensively minded players! Although to be fair, Lucas played well pushed that bit further forward. Wasn't that supposed to be his natural position. Wasn't he a top scorer in one of the Brazilian championships one season?

Never top scorer, but more free roaming when he was at Gremio.

We could have been a bit more expansive, our back 4 have been struggling all season and the way we line up doesn't really help with taking the pressure off them and given Stoke a bit more to think about.

We're too rigid with quite a lot of the stuff we do, formations, tactics & substitutions.

Bit too much of a witch hunt with Rafa at the moment but something has to give at some point this can't go on - I'd love him to turn it around and take the lads on a run of games (he's done it before) but I can't see it happening.

Poor poor performance against a team that theive of a long thow in specialist who incidentally where alot lesss threatening after they lost two of there more important players.

Lets not forget that liverpool struggled to put a few passes together today and to be honest we are paying players like kuyt to put the ball in the back of the net not to run around vigourously.

If I wanted hard working / limited end product I would be calling for dave bassett as the new manager.

                                Aquilani, playmaker on the bench.
Rodrigues attacking midfielder on the bench.
Pacheco talented striker on the bench

                                today we player 1-8-2

and guess what, we got what our ambition deserved. nothing but a point.

Sorry, but I dont recognise this Liverpool anymore.
You take such a myopic view it's untrue, particularly with statements like this.

"If I wanted hard working / limited end product I would be calling for dave bassett as the new manager."
How can you fail to see the bigger picture? We had to go there to roll our sleeves up and fight like ****, something we've not seen from our lot for too long. That's what happens at Stoke, they drag you into a battle and if you don't stand up to it you lose. You are deluded if you think we were gonna go all out attack, start with Maxi who signed about 48 hours ago FFS, a not-yet-fit Aquilani who was absolutely bollocksed for the last 40 minutes or so the other night, and little Dani Pacheco.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
