It's amazing really, that we're in 4th place today.
When i think of what the press and pundits have been saying about us and our manager, and then i think about what they've been saying about Arry, and Martin 'fantastic, fantastic' O'neil's sides, and how well they've both been playing, and the great players they have, because neither manager never ever wastes a penny or gets a signing wrong and how they know how to get the very best out of their players every single game, you know because they are both superb man managers, all in very stark contrast to the descriptions of Liverpool this season.
So.....as i say.....amazing.

I reckon its down to us and City, and based on the run-in we should finish above them
I cant see either Spurs or Villa doing it now, their both bottling it now when it comes to the business end of the season. They both have only 2 wins in their last 8 league games, thats shocking form for any team aiming to be in the top 4.

aye - especially with both teams in the cups, i think we will see villa go all out to win the carling cup and then suffer the 'cup hangover' from the final win or lose it will physically and mentally drain them and they will tail off.Originally posted by magicalbarnes View PostI reckon its down to us and City, and based on the run-in we should finish above them

Whilst spurs do appear to have some good attacking options, they haven't been playing well, and i reckon they fancy a run at the fa cup - esp with us arsenal and united already out, and if city beat stoke they are set to face chelsea - the fa cup is really up for grabs for any of the so called lesser teams.
so i do expect it will between us and city – we have experience in our favour, they certainly seem to have the ‘squad’ in their favour though.
I did say before the jan transfer window – if we didn’t sign a striker, we won’t finish 4th.
I think it’s going to come down to one thing, Fernando Torres. – If we are still in the fight for 4th, say no more than 3 points off man city, on level games with about 5 games remaining, and we have a fully fit torres we will do it.
My major worry is that by time we get a fully fit torres, it will be too late – either we will have slipped too far behind, or there won’t be enough games left for him to have an impact.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Hopefully Chelsea will ahve sewn up title by last game of the season, would hate for that to be a must win for us, while handing the title to the mancs.!!!_____________________________________

Our best chance though is by beating them, we don't want to have to rely on other teams doing us favours too oftenOriginally posted by Craig_H View Post7 out of City's remaining 12 games are ****ers.
This pleases me.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Was thinking Sunday was a must win, but judging by those fixtures, as long as we don't lose, we should be ok.Originally posted by Craig_H View Post7 out of City's remaining 12 games are ****ers.

Was really thinking City would have scraped a late winner last night to give them a much need confidence boost to go on for 4th. C*nts didn't even deserve the draw.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Obviously if we beat them at their's, then we're in a good position as well as gaining a massive psychological and confidence booster.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostOur best chance though is by beating them, we don't want to have to rely on other teams doing us favours too often
However, having looked at the run-in and the current scenario, i think City away is a 'must not lose' rather than a must-win.
A draw at COM Stadium would be a decent result, all things considered.
