This annoys the **** out of me. It's not sour grapes I just think its illegal. To take 10 or 15 seconds to get the ball dried by a ball boy or for Delap to do it himself is just plain wrong. Wiping it on your shirt is one thing but a towel isn't part of the pitch. What next? Little rugby style ball stands for goal kicks etc. This **** from Delap can remove whole minutes from the playing time and I doubt refs take it into account.

So what if it removes a minute or two? Both teams get the same amount of time on the pitch FFS, whether it's 89mins or 99mins! Can't believe the depths that people are stooping to for excuses. And as for those people whingeing about the P45.....lighten up!!
