Okay, this is post Stoke and pre Tottenham... but its more an analysis of how I feel right now and how would be interested to hear from any of you about how you feel right now about LFC.
I am honestly Torn between supporting Rafa and then on the flip side seeing him go. People on here have said that this is as bad if not worse as Houlliers final season at LFC. But was Houllier such a **** manager? I mean he went to Lyon and did a very good job there. For me I still have something for Rafa as a person. He has been there and won key games for us but this season nothing seems to be going our way at all...
My head says he should go... but my heart says he should stay and turn things around. Maxi Rodrigues is a good buy. And I think had he had the budgets that Maureen has had at Chavski and Whisky Nose then would we be here doing so badly? I think he made an error in letting Sami go. But these things do happen and with the form showed by Skrtel and Carra you wouldn't have thought at the time that the decision to let him go was that bad...
None of us have a crystal ball. I mean this time last year I was living in Woolton L25 and loving that I would see Masch or Lucas or Kuyt in Tesco's on the Allerton Road. But now Im back at my sisters in Leicester! No more reading The Echo - no more trying to find a parking space on Bold Street.
Things change as we all know. And I do honestly think all this has to be traced right back to David Moores. Would we be in this position had DIC taken over? I honestly do think Rafa would have had more money to spend then he has been given by the Americans. The way the whole purchase of LFC has played out has left a very bitter taste in my mouth. The Americans do have a lot to answer for. We went for Vidic but were out beat by Manure - as they had more money to splash they we have... That has been the key to how we're here.
So yes... I am so ****ing Torn between seeing him go and seeing him stay. When you think to how he has masterminded so many critical results in the past you have to wonder how we're here?
The players do have a lot to answer for... as some of the performances have been shocking...
But all I can say is.. we need to keep our chins up and hope we see more bottle and a lot more of a battle on the pitch than we have seen.
And one final thing. I would be made up if a decent human being who understands what this fantastic club stands for comes forward and buys out the Yanks. I am not a fan of theirs at all. They have dragged the club down with their bickering (two grown men acting so childish!!) and as for the siblings... jeez.. you have to wonder... Money doesnt buy intelligence thats for sure...
I hope all of you out there are having as good a Sunday as you can and lets hope we can put in a performance against Spurs and get a win.. if only to silence the doom mongers in London....
