    Penalties

    Is it only me or does it look as though we are suffering with penalty claims because of Ngog´s dive???

    Since the Birmingham game we have had numerous good penalty claims turned down...are the ref´s ignoring them to punish us???

    I think Gerrards antics over the years would have more to do with it, if it`s any truth in it.

      Is there another team in the league that claim for penalties as much as we do or mention it in the post match comments? We seem to over do it and claim every little incident.

          I don't think its been since Ngogs dive, it been right from the very first game of the season, decisions (not just penalty claims) do not seem to be going our way, maybe Mascher is right, we are cursed just now.
          Or because we are not playing well we are trying to get every decision and when it does not go our way and we get beat or draw, we notice it more.

            Exactly there are teams out there that are FAR worse than us ffs.

              I don't think we claim for penalties anymore than other sides, I would say less than most to be honest, I think we are noticing more now because we are down on our luck, things are seemingly going against us and we are low on confidence. As a result we need these decisions more to help us win games, and notice them more when they go against us and we get poor results.
              The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                  The referee was awful, I know this isn't the issue as such in this thread, but Lee Mason had given 4 red cards in 12 games before our game at the weekend, 3 of which were to our players in the previous games he's refereed. If this had happened to Man Utd then he wouldn't have got a scum game for the rest of the season
