    Bar in Leeds

unfortunately I have to spend 2 nights in leeds this week, anyone know a bar in the town centre where I can watch the match without being bombarded by chants of "leeds, leeds, leeds" even tho they're not on telly on Wed night?

Walkabout is usually ok. When I was a student I used to watch in Headingley (only 10mins away) and there's a good choice of pubs there.

I watched the '05 final in The Original Oak.

you're better off going to one of the hotel bars like like the hilton or the marriott. there is also bewleys but its difficult to get to. you don't get the meat heads in them.

              Im from Leeds!

If your in the city centre the sports bar is probably your best bet, it will be full of Liverpool fans too.

If your not staying in the city tell me where your staying and i can suggest something for you.

Yeah you're not far - out the main entrance, cross at the lights and walk down Boar Lane to Lower Briggate.

You'll see a few crappy chain pubs on the way but it might be worth scouting out somewhere on Call Lane or Greek Street, both are around the station/your hotel area.

There are nice bars on each so can't guarantee the match will be on there, but I'm assuming you're a classy guy going by your hotel choice

the cosmopolitan hotel isnt trashy and only opened last year. It is classed as a boutique hotel and is one of our clients.

                        Part of the peel group.

Actually just thinking about it, there's a decent pub called Mr Foley's on the Headrow. That's just a bit further down from the Sports Cafe if you were thinking of heading there.
