The crowd around me only got vocal when they were shouting abuse at the Ref or Harry Redknapp. Around me, I was only one of a small handful that held their scarf up for YNWA and sang it.

    And before anyone claims OOTs - most of them round me had scouse accents. It was a definite improvement on the usual morgue of a Saturday afternoon game - but only back to the level that I would expect from an Anfield crowd.


    Totally agree, it wasn't that great. I'd told my Spurs mate it was gonna be absolutely rocking and their lads would have to stand up to it. He texted me in the first half and said "is this it?". As you said it was miles better than usual morgue and a step in the right direction, but the noise was only sporadic. Not complaining though, it was much better.

      Spoke to one of the players about it and he was genuinely emotional. Said he'd never seen anything like it anywhere else, especially when a team is doing badly, and reckons it could only happen at our club. Great work.
