Both are very good shot stoppers but Reina's distribution is what makes him a lil better than Shay.

Reina half the time starts our counter attacks and even some of his long punts are good. Given's are just aimless high balls many a times.

Moreover he(Given) has lots of exp and Goal Keepers generally get better with age so imagine how Reina wud be when he is 30+

I think Benitez is a better keeper than both of them. Put together. Because he just is.

....and Rafa would fill almost the entire goal so we'd have the lowest number of goals conceded by the end of the season.

given is a good keeper,but is crap at kicking when under pressure something that doesn't faze reina.reina would be spains number 1 casillas was at another club instead of real madrid.

i dont know so much Valdes refused 2 be number 2 keeper to casillas so pulled out,reina is a fantastic keeper and only 6,1 but they all have there bad days,watch the goal on the last game in slowmo 90th minute pepe was more worried that it was offside before the shot was took he had is hand up instead of being set and trying to make the save,they all have there faults now and again hes been and still is a great keeper for us

watched the manc game last night and they were talking about hgiven being the best keeper in the prem, and how mancini rates as the top 5 in the world which is fair enough, you would wnat your manager to say things like that.

Given is and has been a top top class keeper. But Pepe is ****ing outstanding, seriously world class and seriously underrated by everyone other than liverpool fans (and worryingly prob by some red fans too!) - i would not swap reina for any keeper in the world.
