Too ****ing right. I hate Tottenham and i always have.
There supporters are a bunch of arrogant, mouthy cunts.

Btw, why is there no longer a ratings thread after matches?

With Gerrard, Torres, Agger, Benni and Johnson to come in the only way is upwards surely. Strangely our bench looked very strong tonight despite the injuries.
Thought Aquilani played well in a more advanced role and despite a dodgy spell early in the second half, when we couldnt keep hold of the ball, we were good value for the win. Riera adds great balance to the side, rarely loses the ball and links up extremely well with Insua. Defensively we were solid and once we get a couple of players back we can expect a decent run of form.
3 wins and a draw from the last 4 league games is pretty decent for a team in crisis. We've also played Villa and Tottenham twice which is probably a tougher start to the second half of the season than most teams.

Firstly, I like Spurs - they never win anything but have always, as far as I can remember, tried to play football.
Nonetheless, watched a match with a few Spurs fans tonight and I thought to myself that playing Liverpool at Anfield in their current position is like a Champions League Semi Final night for us.
In any case, I thought we played great tonight - the best I have seen us for a long time. Not sure how much that was to do with the early goal (genuinely couldn't believe Kuyt knocked it in from there) but was very impressed by the pressing and urgency etc.
Delighted to see Riera back - think he is a key player for us.
Riera was quality tonight and my god how we missed him in the team. He drives the play forward and is good at getting his shots off and strong in the air. I am glad he is back as it will give us balance on the left and with maxi on the right things are going to get better fast IMO.
