      I think it should just go back to the old rules were you're either offside or your not, ok it's still a judgement call by the officials but at least everyone knows the rules and the subjective issue of whether someone is interfering with play or not is removed.
      The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
