I loved that...i only got to watch the midnight repeat on LFC.TV and the commentators highlighted that cry, and one of them piped up with something along the lines of "do you think he Carra doesn't know his first name?" and th e co-com replied with "he's probably seen his website DegenDegen.com and assumed that was his name"...cracked me up, but then i was tired

There's definetely a better spirit within the camp when big time charlie isn't about.

There's no doubt about that.

Nearly all the players were more vocal last night - not only Carra but Mascherano, Kuyt, Skrtel were shouting and organising throughout the game which was great to see.

Anyone who roars at the people who help pay his wages with the words
'i'm the man, i'm the ****ing man' IS a big time charlie.

If you read his book he'll even admit he can be an arrogant **** at the best of times.

Fair enough if you think i'm being a WUM on this subject but my honest view is there's a better team spirit when Gerrard isn't around.

Is Gerrard captain as he's more marketable? From our squad he and Torres are the most recognisable.

Carra frustrates me, good leader but his form has been poor this season and dont get me started on his aimless hoofing, for me Pepe would be the best captain.

I think Carragher's hoofing is down to the fact he isn't at ease with his game as much last season(for obv reasons) and perhaps he doesn't trust Mascherano and Lucas on the ball as much as Alonso when he was there.

I honestly can't recall him hoofing too much last season but he's reverted to his old ways this season and needs to cut it out.
