Advice needed on travelling to OT

I have managed to secure tickets for the game on Sunday - in the away end of course. Haven't been to OT in years and that was in the North Stand (1998 after MO scored and was sent off). Has anyone got any advice on where to park or meet before walking to the stadium?

I'll be taking the M62 from Lpl into Manc.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

How far are you prepared to walk up to the ground? You're probably best leaving the car in Stretford or Chorlton and walking up. 20/25 minute walk.

I park in Salford Quay car park.

Buy anything from the shops/newsagent/bar and you get about 4 hours free parking.
Its only a 15/20 min walk but i've always drove straight out without any queing, about a mile from m62.

Get the metro tram thing from Picadilly station easy to use but get out the ground as quick as you can after the match to beat the big queues going back.

Half Time when they had a penalty comp ... Liverpool lad smacked in into the top right hand corner of the goal, and then ran of towards our fans giving it some...

Last player off the pitch just behind tossface Neville was Carra, he did a classy 5 finger salute to the Stretford end - they went fcking nuts ... then took me 6 fcking hours to get home to the diff.
