Lose at home to City and have a fit Torres, or 3 points against City
(Torres goal) and lose him to injury again?

It's away to City, if it was home, we'd need him less as we'd be more adventurous going forward.

Playing him wouldnt definitively mean he'd HAVE to get injured, but it's obviously a risk.

I dont think Rafa will chance it, and i dont expect Torres to be on the bench tomorrow.

Who knows. It's a big decision is all I was saying.

I've looked at every game as being a big game for us, over the last couple of months but this fixture is surely a game we need to win.

We can't afford for City to win this and still have games in hand.

If the reports are true and Torres starts on the bench then I expect Rafa to make a change if things aren't going our way.

It may be a pile of media tosh and Torres will watch from the stands..

But what if we lose this game and have Torres available for every game until the end of the season? With Citeh's inconsistent form I'd still hedge bets on us. As I said, it's not an easy decision

If he is really going to be on the bench, I hope he's fit, and we're not going to risk him
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Without Torres i'd like to see

Noggin up front with Pacheco dropping off and a vote of confidence given to Babel as he looked more like the player we've been hoping for on Thursday. Masherano breaking them up and Gerrard running the midfield.
