We would be still in the mix IMO but Rafa had to convicne to stay last year and he had the incentove of it being his 10th year. BTW he better get a testominial at some point.

Interesting to hear that as so many people point that out as Rafa's weakness.Originally posted by Bender View Post"Rafa is an excellent man-manager and during all my time at Liverpool everybody liked him and everybody respected him.""The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

If you have similar ideas there's not conflict of opinions and you don't really have to man manage alot of issues.Originally posted by magicalbarnes View PostSurely every manager is like that? The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The win took Leverkusen to top of the Bundeliga as wellOriginally posted by red n white View PostHe scored the 3-0 for Leverkusen with a smashing header after a corner.
Just the sort of thing he used to do for us.
Our loss clearly has become Leverkusen's gain.
