    Wolves vs Liverpool Match Thread

    Maxi Rodriguez makes his first start and Steven Gerrard returns to the starting XI for tonight's Barclays Premier League encounter at Wolves - listen live from 7.15pm GMT.

    The Reds skipper has recovered from the hamstring injury that he sustained in the FA Cup defeat at home to Reading, and is one of two changes to the line-up that saw off Spurs last time out.

    Our number eight replaces Alberto Aquilani while Maxi comes in for Philipp Degen.

    Liverpool: Reina, Carragher, Insua, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Mascherano, Lucas, Gerrard, Riera, Maxi, Kuyt. Subs: Cavalieri, Aquilani, Babel, Ngog, Degen, Darby, Pacheco.

          We'll ****ing **** em with that team. Dunno why but I think Maxi will be one of those players that clicks from the very start and never looks back

            Also nice to see Pacheco on the bench! Hopefully he'll get a few minutes if we have this under control, I like this lad.

                        Degen can consider himself unlucky to lose his place, he was excellent against Spurs - but, this team looks the part.

                        Can't wait - i hope we can play with the same confidence and spark as we did against Spurs.

                            I'm glad to see we've gone with two wingers, the two holding players and defensive back four hopefully means we'll play an attacking game. I'm a little worried about the condition of Gerrard, I doubt he'll be fully fit but hopefully he can put in a good performance, and we can get the right result!
