To be honest I had a feeling this was going to happen if we started with Gerrard. I'm not having a go at him personally, but I think that he wasn't fully fit not even close. But I think that his presence in the team makes the others feel they don't have to do as much because he's there, obviously this isn't his fault, the others seem to raise their game when he's not there, when he's included but not fit (like tonight) we lack both these factors.

Does that make sense to anyone or am I just rambling
