We need 3 points at Arsenal. It's a big ask but as we seen last sunday, they can still be a soft touch - although they seem to save their weak as water performances for the Scum

It's such a pity Torres won't be fit for this one but anyway.

City are only a point behind us and they've 2 games in hands so i'm of the opinion we need to take at least 4 points from the Arse&City games. Can't see us winning at Eastlands tbh, more likely to do so at Arsenal imo.

      Fair comment

but I'm sure a decent amount of long time Arsenal fans (certainly the ticket holders I've talked with) would bemoan the increase in the daytripper crowd that now plagues the Emirates (at least for an hour before they all **** off if Arsenal aren't 2 up)

That's leaving aside the 1/4 of the crowd who seem to disappear the 20 mins either side of half-time....although with the bars only a few yards away that's no surprise

Been to both and they couldn't be more different. Like some-one else said, the Emirates looks good, but it's a bit soulless. The Boleyn feels like a council block.
          Really?

We were sitting with the Arse fans a couple year back (brother and I are both LFC) directly across from the away fans corner, and all you can bloody hear was the Liverpool fans that day, especially when Crouch scored.
Dead as a doornail almost the entire game apart from when Arsenal equalised.
Nice stadium......no soul or atmosphere though.....something had to be lost during their corporate move.
Can't have it both ways I fear.......

P.S. best thing about that day was when I started giving out about Fabregas following the ref around all game mouthing off at every decision (wasn't long after the Masch incident at Old Trafford if I remember correctly)...........and this little Arsenal punk with his oul lad in front of me turned around in his Fabregas enblazoned jersey and gave me the saddest eyes I've ever seen, as if I'd desecrated his hero's grave
Should've whipped of my jacket and showed him my true colours right there and then - (sounds nearly dodgy that, reading that back)
I was at that game, in the Liverpool end, we created a superb atmosphere and the Torres song was sung almost non-stop. It must have been quite a sight for the Gooners to see us bounce. We even did the mock applause thing when Arsenal fans started singing (which was probably when they scored).

the Emirates has the most comfortable seats and leg room I've ever experienced at a football ground, and that is the best thing I can say about it. The rest just reinforces what a souless inauthentic club Arsenal are: giving out free novelty sized foam hands, playing videos before the game on the big screen to create atmosphere. It what I imagine an NFL or American sporting event to be like. Arsenal - plastic club, plastic fans.

Hi Dhav. Nice to see you're not softening the anti-Arsenal venom.

You know that highlighted bit really isn't true. Maybe they've gone a bit showbiz but, unlike Spurs and, until about five years aog, Chelsea, they are one of the giants of English football (after us and, um, you-know-who).

The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Difference is, there was no atmosphere at Highbury either.

Greetings Mr Young, nice to see you sir.

Can I ask why we no longer see you posting on another forum named after a popular fans' chant?

And as for the bit in bold above, I make no such admission
