Doesn't look like it. I guess Rafa is coming from the point of view that it is best not to put too much expectation on him and get him game time in games where we are on top, and where a mistake might not cost us the game. Whereas those of us screaming for him to come on see that he is just the type of creative second striker that we need in tight games like this. Gerrard isn't going to do it through the force of his will alone when there are 4 to beat every time he gets the ball - it will take a bit of clever movement around the box, or great wide play. At the moment we've got neither.

It's hard to break down a team that has only come to sit deep and defend. I'm sure we'll beat them in the return leg, it's just a shame that we'll have to take our best players out there now too.
