Late thread but I'm bored. According to the Guardian this is a probable line up for the teams.



City subs from: Taylor, Zabaleta, Kompany, Onuoha, Boyata, Bellamy, Sylvinho, Ibrahim, Garrido, Santa Cruz

Liverpool subs from: Cavalieri, Aquilani, Degen, Ngog, Riera, Babel, Darby, Benayoun, Spearing, Ayala, Pacheco, Kelly, El Zhar

I'd rather see Aurelio at left back with Babel or Riera on the wing to be honest, otherwise it's a decent team for me. Would be nice to have Torres on bench though.

Aurelio upfront - oh yes he has a defensive mentality! and let's exclude babel, the only player in the starting 11 who can prouduce speed and acceleration for counter attack.

I agree, if he's to play it should be at left back but I think Babel deserves a shot at a start now. We need more threats going forwar and we could use his pace in a game like this.

I think we'll take them regardless, specially with Tevez out, Bellamy doubtful and apparently some sort of uprising in the squad, and it looks like it might be a slow day

Don't they have under-soil heating? Should be fine if they have.

As said above I also think Babel deserves a starting place for this one, but besides that there are no real surprises in this team. It will be a close match, and we just need to win this simple as that.

They have but thats's never the issue - like when we had to postpone the Spurs game, it's about access and safety on the roads.

Not televised in the UK mate, one of the Spanish channels might be showing it though I guess.
