I agree, the game had written 0-0 over it from the beginning. The only good thing about it was the tenner I had put on a draw.

Reckon we would have lost it if it wasnt for Skrtel though. Thought he managed to keep Adebayor at bay. Benayoun did well when he came on, should've went down though and the Torres card was ridiculous.

See I'm torn on that - especially after the Ngog incident and how we'd feel if an opponent did it. I only saw it on a crappy stream with no replay so I don't know if it's a penalty or not, but I think it's admirable that he stayed on his feet.

Man city have been leaking goals from all over the place and we should have put out a more attack minded team today.

We really needed to win this game and now we are 6th or something. In this type of situation we have to be looking to win games.

No tevez, a crocked bellamy and adebayour clearly doesnt want to be playing football at the moment. They were there for the taking today but we just didnt want it enough.

Sometimes you lose games when trying to win them and thats part of football.

But not trying to win games incase you lose them just isnt football and the last time I checked we are a Football club.

It is. But like you say a late pen would have been welcomed. The position we're in at the moment (and the fact every other player does it)... Just go down and get the pen.

Maybe he didnt because he's an honest player (which i think most would agree with), maybe he thought he still had the chance to put it back in the net. Either way you have got to admire him for this.... But at the end of the day, with hindsight, i think even Benayoun himself would have chosen to go down instead.

Torres playing was a big big plus, not for long granted, but he's now going to be playing some part as he gets back to fitness and sharpness, ease him in....from the bench or from the start, either way just having him as an impact player for now will be a plus till he's firing on all cylinders.......ready for the run in.
