    Fabio Aurelio

Still not signed a new contract?

I don't watch LFC every kick but every time Aurellio plays he looks top draw and one of few players who arent carried. However why is he being messed around? He is never played for 2 games on the bounce. Insua to me is gash. Aurellio has a perfect left foot it seems rada wants him in the team(cm, lm, lb)

Bit out of contract in the summer do you guys rate him and want to see him sign?

he's been offered a pay as you play deal, which is really the only sensible thing for us. decent squad player who's good for us, but a waste of wages much of the time for a cash-strapped club.

Because he's never fit for two games on the bounce.

But Isnt he one of the greatest left backs in the league? Much better than Indus he has a brilliant left peg can really dip a free kick his passing is pinpoint. I think you would miss him

He was good for us last season, he's hardly featured this season (at left back at least), he has problems staying injury free, I don't think we can rely on him regularly.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Aurelio is a quality footballer... however he is possibly the most injury prone player we've had since Chris Kirkland, and Rafa's found him impossible to rely on because of that. The couple of times in his Liverpool career that he's managed to stay fit for several months in succession he's been very good, but far often than not he's in and out with injury every other game and his form has shown that.

Defensively he's ho better (just more experienced) than Insua imo. Insua lacks height and isn't all that quick, but neither is Aurelio. And Insua is very underrated going forward, the lad can cross and is willing to put in a shift down that side every single game. For a very young player he's shown excellent maturity in a very difficult season and will be a much better player going forward for the experience gained this year. Personally I think he gets in the team ahead of Aurelio on merit currently.

Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                Mine angry and defrauded young?

It'd cost more to replace Aurelio adequately, than to keep him.

The big question is just what it will cost to have a backup for insua or another starter instead. We might miss him on that account, especially now our most promising youth player is sold to Fulham. Means we must get in another player.

He's made of glass, its so annoying! Cracking player, really impressed with him when he does play, not a fan of him playing wide left, much prefer him at left back.
It's frustrating that we've got this quality in the medical rooms!

I really like Aurelio, he was class last season and contrary to popular opinion, had a good run in the side. He only got injured in the summer.

I cannot see how Insua has stayed in the side on form. Aurelio is better than him in absolutely every department except perhaps durability.
