    babel

Yeah shame it's taken him 3 years and numerous 'chats' with Rafa to finally work hard in training.
I'll be convinced at the end of next season after he has played well between now and then.

On the flip side it also means his value will go up if he plays well and has a good World Cup if Rafa decided to cash in
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

so your blaming rafa for being poor motivator then
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

I'd hardly be cracking open the bubbly yet, Babel needs to perform consistently.

A decent showing & cameo against a piss poor Unirea doesnt prove much.

defo nothing to get excited about with Babel, I expect him to have a couple more half decent games, get dropped becasue of rotation and then he will be back to his half assed best.

Yeah he's been trying hard over the past couple of weeks but it won't count for anything if he goes back to being lazy again. Need him to keep it going now

If you were lazy at work and didn't put enough effort in, would you lay the blame on your boss for being a poor motivator? It's absolute bollocks. They shouldn't need motivating, and that's exactly why Rafa buys players that self-motivate and respond to his methods. If you want to blame Rafa for something then you can for buying Babel in the first place

Football and 'real jobs' arent really the same though, are they?

You can quit your 'real job' at any time, with notice, and then work for a rival business if you choose, for example.

And you're not restricted to moving jobs at particular points in the year, for another example.

                  They're vastly different.

Well that depends if your under a contract doesn't it.

                    Define 'Real Job'

Most people have work contracts, but they operate differently to football contracts, hence there's a world of difference.

That statement is quite simply not true.

A WORLD of difference, i see.

The above shouldn't (and imo doesn't) change the fact that if you don't put the effort in, it's not the manager's fault

sorry to bring such old thread "up" (could start new, anyway ...), but just to let u know, that Unirea Urziceni is dissolved

they were champions in 2009 ffs

they have been called "romanian chelsea" ... i think this is a big warning to all new rich teams like Chelski, MFCF, Malaga etc ...
