    Re the chimbonda incident:

'and Liverpool believe that was deliberate.....im not sure it was'

    What game was he watching......

And Allardyce....'5 yellow cards was an unfair reflection of how we played but when you come to places like this they sway it their way'

    What a F-U-C-K-I-N-G KNOB!

He's partially right but, it was an unfair reflection. There should have been a couple of reds too.

And, as always, Lucas was battered all over the shop while the ref ignored it. I can't believe the lad hasn't suffered any injuries. Fair play to him, he always gets back up and gets on with it

Think thats half the reason that Nzonzi didnt get a red, when Lucas was pushed to the floor he bounced straight back up.

Chiles called Rafa's interview 'bizarre' saying that he just resorts to one-word answers but they didn't even broadcast the best bits.

The Lucas headlock probably deserved a red, good job it didn't start a brawl 'cos his only immediate backup was Yossi

Poor old Martin, he's never likely to make the Saturday night MOTD A-team.

Haha poor The Keown. They use him because he has a nice Home Counties accent and sounds, on the very surface, mildly impressive. In reality he's just like all the others, can't string a sentence together.

At least though he says "he did well", rather than "he done well" and adds the 'ly' bit on the end of words - eg "he did fantastically there", rather than "he done fantastic"

I've been meaning to mention that. Is there a rule that every football pundit has to constantly get this wrong? Wasn't it an old sketch on the Fast Show as well?

I'd normally refer to those pundits as 'primates' but with Keown, that might be a little close to the bone.

ronnie whelan has the worst combination of football accent and football grammar ever.
