Well yeah it is. Compare it to Alliadiere'a (sp?) little slap on Mascherano a couple of years ago (would be interesting to know which ref that was!) and it just makes a mockery of any so called consistency from referees.

It wasn't even on the ball or in a penalty area melee (sp?) Right out in the open, taking place for a few seconds with a blatant push in the face. I can't believe we're not reading about retrospective evidence in the press today. We certainly ****ing would had it been Lucas's hand in Rooney's face

There was a lack of appeal which was disappointing. You could imagine the Chelsea or Manu players surrounding the ref and he'd eventually give them a few decisions to even out his mistake.

i even started a thread pointing out how lucas is being treated by the refs, and the amount of decisions that go against him is ridiculous. but eventually the thread got down to "lucas is **** vs. no he's not"
