Figueroa looked like the best player in the world tonight. Why are Benayoun and Johnson the only players employed by LFC who will actually run at an opposing defender with the ball at their feet? Its ridiculous....we need about 9 passes to get through 2 defenders

In what way does Gerrard currently deserve to be there? He was terrible, worst player on the pitch. Torres didn't cover him self in glory tonight either.

Half way through that match I wondered if the team are training with a football at all and by the end you have to wonder if they train together either.

Worst performance in memory - and the worst feeling after a match too. Can't pass, don't care, predictable, arrogant with no ideas or confidence.

Something is not right and until it's sorted we're looking at a midtable finish. Forget about any European involvement next year. These players look lost and depressed.

Because he's proven ability. Yes he was **** tonight and has had a poor season, but we know what he can do. Same with Torres.
