To be fair to Torres, he couldnt exactly play well - every time he got the ball he had sod all movement from anyone and plus no one could be bothered to offer support. On the other hand, Torres was the only person moving into space down the channels trying to get something going prior to my first point.

You cant expect him to make something out of nothing all of the time.

The lack of movement was appalling. Torres was at least trying but he's spent too much time being treated this season when he should have been out there earning his 120k per week salary. He's fast becoming into Michael Owen and he takes at least 20 games to get going after injuries.

Mourinho is the best manager going around, they deluded fools saying they don't want him purely because of his few (very successful) years at Chelsea are cutting their nose off to spite their face.

The only one that gets close to him is Guardiola, and he's a gypo through and through. He wouldn't walk away from his Barca team. No way.

Another option is Blanc at Bordeaux. He has them playing brilliant football.

I read the first page of this post, but why sack Rafa?

In 90 minutes, the team could not muster 1 shot on target - with Gerrard & ~Torres in the side, how is it all down to him?

People say you play 4-5-1. Fair enough, but in our first eleven, 3 of the world's best ten play. Our team (away), our squad (as a whole) doesn't step up to the mark - Chelsea lost there 3-1, should Ancelotti be sacked?

That's an abysmally poorly made dreadful point mate.

Chelsea havent lost 9 games and dont look set to finish 7th.

As for how it's down to the manager - who else do you think is responsible for motivating players and getting them up for it?

It's a simple choice, sack Rafa now, or forget any hope of being in the CL for the foreseeable future. We'd basically turn into a midtable club.

He ain't going anywhere. He has contracts lined up for Mascherano and he's already planning for next season. There's no effing way he's going to resign. Majority of the support is still with him though and unless that changes, I don't see this changing. The Americans aren't going to sack him either, he's saving them money by balancing the books.

Which is nearly the team that played last night. Formations mean **** all if the players can't pass the ball 5 yards. The formation isn't as important as people make out, its the players that are the problem.

I saw our lineup last night before the game and said to my mate, that it was an attacking lineup. I then said that the personnel didnt matter to much, because it depends on the mentality that they're sent out with. And so it proved. This is exactly rafa's problem.

It's the two Ms - motivation and mentality. Sadly, rafa falls down on both.

It doesnt matter who you have in your side, if you cant motivate them and if you instill a negative, slow paced loser's mentality.
