Thanjk you.

I agree, but let's not start vilifying or ridiculing Roy before he's even arrived. Regardless of whether he's the right choice, he's a respected, respectful, dignified man who's done nothing wrong yet. If he's appointed, slate the owners for lack of ambition but don't start attacking a blameless man,
Not sure Neil was, but I agree with your sentiment.
Seriously, they're not. Not in terms of the premiership. Ngog is very raw and naive at the moment but could turn into a very good player one day. Voronin had neither the pace, height, nor determination for our league.

You know what? I wouldn't go as far as saying that. With the right budget, who knows what he can do. And tbh, I'd trust his football over Martin O'Neil's.
BUT
My love of Premiereship football is dead. It's something that's been festering for a while with me. Fickle media, fickle players, fickle ****ing fans. A good game is judged by goals in mosts eyes, regardless of how the team performed for the remaining 80 minutes. No one seems to appreciate positioning off the ball, or good defensive closing down game play. It's all become a ****ing headline these days.

N'gog, at least has potential, Zamora doesn't even have that and I'm pretty sure his strike rate this season was one that is at least as good as an average Zamora season.
Voronin in his one full season in England did about as well as Zamora has done and is a all round player.

Wikipedia says 21 goals in 44 games last season in all comps, don't remember voronin ever getting that ratio for us?
I wouldn't necessarily want us to sign him either, but as a squad player he'd hardly be a big step down from our other back up strikers of the last 8 years or so. I'd cry if he was ever the best we had to offer though, obviously.

..Remind me to slit my wrist again on another rumour of Roy becoming our manager as wanking over the rumours of new investment/owners is becoming difficult...
Fact is this time last season if the idea of replacing rafa with Hodgson had come up everyone on here would have pissed themselves laughing! Roy Hodgson is not liverpool managerial quality! Even if we are in a state at the minute we can still attract better quality than bloody Roy Hodgson. He got blackburn relegated.
The fact that Roy Hodgson has been picked ahead of Kenny should have every liverpool supporter seething!
Do you really think the likes of stevie and nando are going to stick around when stevie has the choice of working under Woy or Jose and nando has the chance to go to Barca?
We have just sacked a CL winning coach and looks like we are going to replace him with Steve Mclaren MKII
The minute Kenny stepped up to the mark the decision should have been a no brainer. Not appointing Kenny shows that Purslow has not got the best interests of the club at heart before his own agenda.
