To be fair, I think that would be tough for anyone to control and shoot quickly enough.

That was better. Garbage start again but much improved as it went on. Having Johnson back makes a difference, his delivery from the right is really good and his thrust gives us much more impetus.

Agger looks off the pace to me though, their lads are going past him so ****ing easily.

Enjoyable game compared to recent. Happy with our performance. My only gripe in Kuyt, I just feel his not offensive enough. We had a chance to counter and he decided to do a cross field pass to Babel rather than a forward pass to Gerrard or Torres.

Yeah it would've been tough, i agree. Torres is a class apart from anyone though, and i'd have backed him there. No slight on Lucas, he just isnt as good as Torres, and very few are.

Agreed, he was a little slow to get going, though it has been more assured as the hald has gone on. We have looked much better than on Monday, though a nice pitch to play on would be good!
