Why do so many people keep insisting Aquilani starts? Yes he is a more attacking player than Lucas, but he has been very poor for us this season. He is out of the team due to his form, as we are in a difficult situation where we need everyone to pull their weight why do so many people want a player off form included, when games have passed him by this season? I can understand people wanting changes, but surely we need players to stand up and be counted.

It was Monday 16th April, and I remember watching it down the pub before heading out for dinner, so yeah it must have been a late afternoon kick off.

No I was being serious. I strongly remember it as I had to leave the pub just before the end to make our dinner appointment (women ) and heard Mac's winner on the radio in the car. So yeah 6pm would make sense

coz MAsher and Lucas have had plenty of midfield opportunites to play together.....and proved they cant.

Would rather lose some midfield steel and humdrum for creativity and guile.....even if he does pass to the oppostion more often than not

haha it's amazing how we remember things like that - i remember it so well - working in tesco's which why i think it might have been a bank holiday, because i was in 6th form at the time so wouldn't normally be working a Monday. Maybe I worked later than i thought (normally would have finished at 4pm which is why i thought it was an earlier kick off) cause usually i'd have been on it all day with my mates but remember clearly rushing home and watching it at my mum and dads cause i didn't have time to make it the pub
