4-1 job done. Nice to win again. Even nicer to say we did it playing as a team.

That's much better than the last few months. Now, let's hope the FA doesn't use video evidence against Stevie g for that elbow....

If the FA do have a look at the elbow and decide to ban Gerrard i have no doubt that Liverpool will appeal it. This should allow him to play on SUnday.

Scum did somthing similar with Rio a few weeks back. He got a retrospective red. Scum appealed and that allowed him to play in the next league game. He was then banned for a subsequent game for a frivolous appeal

              much much better.

That's amongst the best football (at times) we've played this season, some brilliant one touch passing made possible by the benching of lucas and kuyt.

I though aquilani looked really good in patches, torres looked sharp, babel looked brilliant at times, and rodriguez was probably our best player.

Insua continues to be a worry and if he's up against valencia then i think we will have a lot of problems v united. Why dont we play martin kelly at left back instead, as he looks like another arbeloa to me. Good defensively and is keen to get forward when possible.

Insua should have made a better effort to cut the cross out for the goal, the ball went inside him for FFS, his positioning wasnt good enough.

Anyway, i thought we would struggle like mad, but it goes to show that when we use the right players in the right formation we look pretty good.

Same again for thursday please rafa.
