We did well today apart from a nervous 10-15 min in the end almost looking like stuff we have seen earlier this season!

Torres is such a good finisher, fantastic player! Everybody performed today which was very positive to see.

"I spoke with SG before and received my usual pre match email and SMS from Rafa as we all do. We knew we had to go forward, to score and to win. We started well, with the penalty and tried to manage the game. I like to go forward, unfortunately i didnt score any goals this season, but the most important thing is the team, the last two performances were really good, and we have to keep going and keep the confidence."

We still need to sort out the away performances before we can herald a turnaround - winning at home hasnt been rare, even in this **** season.

It's a transformation no less... just seems like everybody has more freedom to play now and players are roaming more than before!

At times we looked excellent. Lucas was ace ( )and Nando is the best striker in the world. Gerrard needs to do more and the back four absolutely must stop bypassing the midfield by hoofing all the time. Things look more positive than they did a week ago so bring on the scum.

Through to the next round, some nervy moments but we also played some really good football at times.

Torres is just utterly, utterly incredible. Good to see Gerrard getting back to his best and I'd like to see Lucas attack more often - he's got it in his locker.

Also a mention to Pepe for saving that one-on-one in the first half. Could've been a different game had that gone in.

I've said it a few times that Lucas should be playing in a more advanced position, think he's better suited to it. There's no need for him to sit so deep, Mascherano can do that on his own.

As for Torres, we would be ****ed without that guy. Brilliant brilliant finisher that lad is, he just get's better and better.

He is the worlds best striker for sure, his finishing is freakish.
