He didn't get lucky though, that's the point. There was nothing lucky about him looming in front of the Lille lad's face like a big intimidating truck about to flatten him. Fantastic goalkeeping.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Of course it's true...but i'm sure the people posting know that....it's not anyones place to constantly remind them of facts that they are aware of, ffs, someone always sees it as their job to bring any nice feeling about a good win to an end.
Good win, well played, well managed, well done.
****ing hell mate, grow a pair and stop crying
Someone asked what the difference has been and i replied that a lot of it is to do with home games, where we've been very strong, against opposition who cant cope with us when we go out to attack.

When Schmeichel did it was great goalkeeping when Pepe does it it's luck
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Well hopefully some idiots will stop trying to blame our poor season on Lucas and Kuyt. Better result than on Monday and both of them were playing, its hectic that some fans accused them instead of appreciating the fact that Torres, Gerrard, Babel and Johnston either returning from injury/ fitness/ form.
I don't think people are exactly blaming them two, I think it's more of a case of not thinking they are good enough for LFC and the managers tactics of playing 2 holding DMs and a striker as RM/RW.
What we saw last night was a change in tactics in that Rafa decided to go with just one true holding DM, Mascha which he is the absolute master and allowing Lucas to play a more fluid position which he absolutely revelled in and seemed happier in. Well played Lucas, you have improved greatly this season and let's hope Rafa stops using you as a holding DM unless Mascha isn't available.
As for Kuyt he didn't do a great deal wrong but I would still suggest he is not good enough for LFC as a RM/RW. Back-up striker with a knack for being in the right place at the right time I could accept.
I agree Shaggy about him coming out and making himself big BUT as I said, he didn't know too much about it though did he. Pepe makes plenty of great saves for us but even the great man wouldn't claim that.
He got lucky but put himself in the right position IMO.
That line could define Schmeichel's career, was uncanny how many he saved by simply doing this, and then ball careering of his head or other body part, often unknowingly.
He's the best keeper in the Prem since Schmeichel, only one to have come close and he's still young. We are absolutely BLESSED to have him!!

I totally agree. I was by no means putting Pepe down when I said he knew nothing about the save.
