    Mancs build up

Tricky one. Very tricky. Aquilani or Lucas? Probably Lucas all things considered.

Maxi or Dirk? Thought Dirk was poor again last night and I'd go with Babel on the left and Maxi on the right, but it's almost certain Dirk will stay on the right and I fear Babel will lose his place to Maxi on the left.

Still, nice to have a few selection headaches.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Lucas and Dirk will 100% both start.

Can't see the team being anything other than....

    ---------Torres
    Babel----Gerrard----Kuyt
    ------Lucas--Masher
    Insua-Agger-Carra-Johnson
    ----------Reina

Man Utd will be favourites, but that's a solid team and if we get a bit of luck and play as we have done the past couple of games, you never know.

      pretty much agree with that.

kyut has been poor ( i'll put it down to fatigue after playing his heart out for so long this season ) but he will no doubt start with maxi on the left and babel kept for "impact sub".

i think lucas will start and so long as its the 4-1-4-1 formation from last night i wouldnt be aginst it. if it's the 4-2-3-1 formation then i will be disappointed but would still expect lucas ahead of aqua.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Bit of a double header this one, not only do we have to keep on winning to to get that fourth spot (maybe too late), we also have put a dent in their title hopes and stop them surpassing the joint league record.

I agree although I think Yossi might come in for Babel.

I think Babel can consider himself very unfortunate if he is dropped.

Largely agree with AA's team but think Maxi will start instead of Babel.

Probably Maxi will come in for Babel. Rafa will want Babel on towards the end, his pace will give them something to think about.

I don't disagree, and I hope he plays. I'm just trying to second-guess Rafa.

If we're going to start with Lucas and Mascherano as 2 DMs then I would put pace on the wings otherwise our counter-attacks (which invariably will be the theme of the match) will be as slow as the orient express.

                        Babel and Maxi for me.

Expect Kuyt to start and see plenty of cross field balls from Agger, and long balls from Pepe to make use of his height advantage over Evra.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Fair enough good point. Do you think Yossi will have a role to play on sunday? I get the feeling he hasn't fully recovered from his injury but Rafa still wants a 90% Yossi to be part of the squad.

I fully expect to see play loads long balls from all of the back five. It's what we've done consistently this season against organised defenses when it's obvious we have no plan B. Even last night, we spend a good 25 mins of the second half avoiding using our midfield. We just have to stop it and Gerrard running a bit more and looking for the ball would be a big help.
