Becuase most on here like to wear Rafa tinted glasses .....and appluad everything he does ....anyone who dare criticise Rafa gets slagged

Or just maybe some people are willing to give a new player time to settle. Could easily go the other way and say some people are just willing to use anything to bash Rafa.
I dont think you need any glasses on to accept that a player from a different league who has hardly played all season and signed in January will take time to get to his best in thr premier league.

If you actually read what I had written, I was asking the question, as I hadnt seen him play every game. The responses of "give him a chance" just confirms he has been poor. In fact I was just questioning if we would not be better with a different player in the wide position. Wasnt really having a go at him at all.

Regardless, he was our worst player alongside Kuyt today. Second half was nothing but unforced errors with his passing.

Regardless, he was our worst player alongside Kuyt today. Second half was nothing but unforced errors with his passing.

Kuyt the man who set up our only goal? He wasnt great but no way was he one of the worse players.

Why did Rafa bring in a player that would need time to settle when he already has players in the wide positions? I am sure he played in a much more attacking role in Spain than he does for us.

If we dont finish 4th, we are ****ed. Completely. We will lose Torres, and Man City will strengthen, and we will be fighting for 5th for the next decade along with Tottenham and Villa.

We need to go for broke now. It not beyonf the realms of possibility for Everton to catch us and for us to finish 8th.

But that's not his fault if we are assigning blame then alot of the people who have been here all season (manager, staff and players) should be at the front of the queue.

maxi was ok today, he didnt give the ball away and used it well when he had it.

Johnson has a semi valid excuse in that he's coming back from injury and kuyt too can validly make a claim for poor genes contributing to him having absolutely no talent whatsoever. Its not his fault he cant pass a ball or link up with anyone, the lad was just born that way.

But gerrard has no excuse whatsoever. ****ing waste of space.
