Thats shockingly bad. I really can't understand any justification for Rafa to stay in charge next season other than we can't afford to get rid.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostWith Wolves win away from home last night, their away record now reads:
Played 16
Won 4
Drawn 4
Lost 8
Goals for: 18
Goals against: 30
Our away record:
Played 16
Won 4
Drawn 4
Lost 8
Goals for: 13
Goals against: 19

I can but there's no point spelling it out yet again..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I still think a number of managers would've done better this season though, but there's no point me spelling it out again either as you're either on one side of the fence or the other.Play Ball!!!!!!!

I repeat, he wanted away. To tell him that he would have to stay when he knew Real wanted him would hardly have been conducive to his producing good performances. I suspect if we had done that - and no team ever does keep hold of players with 12 months left on their contract when they want to go - he would have found himself struggling with mystery strains and problems that would have kept him occupied on the treatment table and no doubt half-arsed performances if he did play. And who could blame a player in those circumstances?Originally posted by Craig_H View PostYes there was. He had another year left. I think the value of his contribution for another year, is greater than the £3m we got for him. Especially when we didnt even get to spend it.

So was their 5 men across the middle and little attacking end-product not cautious? What weapons did they unleash? In the game I watched Reina had just about bugger all to do. Their only decent forward - Shrek - never looked remotely like scoring except when presented with a rebounded penalty from 6 yards. Is that the unleashed weapon you refer to?Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostIf it was a Robot Wars battle you'd have to say that the Mancs are robust and have a single potent weapon. The person controlling the machine is willing to take risks and unfortunately the same cannot be said for us - we have potentially more offensive threat, but we're too cautious and don't unleash our weapons. I wish I hadn't bothered trying to make that analogy. :-/
