Oh ffs, i never thought i'd say this, but give over lads!
This should be an education for you Craig, a lesson no less, an example of conditions other posters have to live through...when you and Fredo get going.
The difference is, the others who sold big names, did it at a time when their clubs were winning and challenging for titles every season. There was a massive mental strength and confidence in those clubs, with the knowledge that they were at the top, and full of quality throughout, enabling them to lose a big name and carry on performing.
Think about that - and then look at us, and ask yourself if it's the same.
Can see that. tbh tho i think we'd get as much as a boost from a fresh start on the playing side. its clear as day that other players seem to be inhibited when gerrard is on the pitch. this has happened for years now.
because he's so good and they just look for him. that means perhaps we go central or he drops deep when instead we should be pinging it wide and he's legging it into the box to get on the end of it.
gerrard doesnt trust those around him and they all defer to him. that means he drops deep too often and others are frightened to not give him the ball. this isolates torres/ngog and means the right and left wing are easily closed down. this is massively imbalanced and exacerbates our reliance on his form. which has been sh1t because he looks like he can't be arsed.
If the only one he trusted was alonso and he's gone then I can understand stevie wanting to drop back. but thats just too indisciplined and causes problems for our attacking threat.
he's been a massive problem for our play this season. a real choker for our team and thats costing us big time.
Ah right, so you shunt them round a warehouse on your night shift at John Lewis.
Bender-baiting, should be an Olympic sport.
Who the feck are you to try and belittle a working man?
I've gone from IT management to cutting ****ing straps off pallets in a factory on shifts because I was made redundant in October. Times are hard and you've got to take anything to pay the bills. Am I happy with that? No, but I'm proud I have a job and I can keep my head high even if people with their heads up their own arses try and look down their nose at me.
