    Sunderland Build Up

Well, here we go again. this game is MASSIVE. We have win to have any hope of getting fourth spot imo, last chance saloon. Lets hope the beach balls are on our side for this one

With Bent in top form we will have to keep an eye on him. I reckon we should go for the same team we played against portsmouth. Waddaya reckon Skips?

can't you let us be blissfully ignorant of the sad, sad football side of things for a few days?

          I beg to differ.

I think Cara will foul Bent in the box. Bent scores peno. Torres and yossi to score for us. Final score 2-1.

We play crap against teams that the rest of the premiership big boys have no problem in dismantling.

Win at all costs, otherwise we need a result against Chelsea for certain.

I think we can drop three more points maximum, but it could very easily be none if one of the other teams gets some momentum.

As we have struggled away all season it does seem unlikely on the face of it that we will suddenly win every remaining game this season and walk away with 4th place and the Europa Cup. But I guess it's possible. Only Chelsea look difficult and we are at home. And with that the penultimate game for us we'll have a better idea of what we need from it.
                    Forwards.......

Sounds like a plan to me.

But with Agger on the left instead of Insua, Greek in the middle.

The pain of it has been numbed by time to the point that I can actually laugh about it now

I'd like to see Babel and Aquilani start - probably with Lucas and Kuyt dropping out of the team from the United game. Sunderland have regained form though so depending on how combative we expect midfield to be one of the two I marked for being cut from the side might be worth putting back in.

David it's because of that sort of attitude that teams don't fear coming to Anfield anymore
