Although this sounds ridiculous its not beyond the realms of possibility.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostIs it possible that Rafa might have screwed this season on purpose? If Rafa doesn't get money to spend then failure to qualify for the CL is his way of hitting back?
At times rafa's team selections have bordered on madness. Our match against pompey away this season is an example. I think rafa has (or had) the ability to turn it on and off when he wanted and when he wants to make a point he will make the point quite conclusively.
Just when it matters he can pull the results out of the bag but when he's angry with stuff going on around the club we can also suffer some results that defy belief.
however, the players havent responded very well recently and i dont think rafa has the answers to get us out of this lull.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

Up there with the all time crackpot conspiracy theories. Maybe he's on the take from some asian betting syndicate.

Is there a vid of this anywhere didnt see it.....?Originally posted by Craig_H View PostNot this crazy theory again
If he was deliberately losing, why would we have come out firing against Spurs?
Why did he produce the only ever 'celebration' i've ever seen from him, when Nando fired in that stoppage time winner at Villa Park?

What the **** is happening to some of this clubs fans...they're all turning into clones of Newcastle supporters....with crazy conspiracy theories and insults about the manager thrown around like confetti.
All this is...is reality, as long as we have these owners...this will be the reality...it's why sacking the manager won't work, because the best managers won't want to work under similar condidtions at a club with such high expectations, and one that's judged against it's history and it's wealthier opponents, it's also why we'll have trouble competing...because other clubs get their top targets..while we pick up the left overs.
This is our recent history....which was meant to change when Moores finally sold out....it didn't...which now means it's our future too, unless something changes financially, and at the moment our owners value the club too high for that to happen.Last edited by Vermilion; 27-03-10, 12:44 PM.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I agree - suggesting that a manager would want to prove a point to his employers that he cannot win the league without a transfer budget is crazy. It's up there with the fake moon landings and the Yanks blowing up the twin towers.Originally posted by banditos View PostWTF???

Someone on Newsnight Review last night said when people can't explain something they turn to conspiracy theories. It made me think of religion and the LFC forum and I immediately realised she had made a very good point..
