    **** the blue one.

That yellow one, the last one you just posted, is superb.

The only problem is that we wont have Carlsberg next season anyway, so the carlsberg style lettering on the 'get out' wording might not be necessary.

A LIVERPOOL FC supporter who brought about Tom Hicks’ son’s departure from Anfield today took on the club’s owners again.

Stephen Horner first came to the attention of the Hicks family in January after e-mailing parts of an ECHO article to then-club director Tom Hicks Jnr which discussed the challenges facing manager Rafa Benitez.

Mr Horner was staggered when he received an abusive, expletive-filled reply from Mr Hicks Jnr, a response which eventually led to the American’s resignation from the Anfield board of directors.

Now, Mr Horner has sent an open letter via email to the government’s treasury select committee, urging MPs to look into the financial situation at the club.

His message was also copied to The Royal Bank of Scotland, which is owed £237m by Mr Hicks and co-owner George Gillett, Liverpool FC and potential investor the Rhone Group.

Mr Horner highlights the club’s debt, referring to the situation as “completely unacceptable”.

Mr Hicks and Mr Gillett have until July to pay £100m off the outstanding £237m borrowed from the Royal Bank of Scotland and Bank of Wachovia.

Like many Liverpool fans, Mr Horner is concerned Mr Hicks and Mr Gillett will be allowed to refinance the debt and is asking the treasury select committee to put pressure on RBS to ensure that does not happen.

He is also urging other Liverpool fans to send the email via the Facebook group “Liverpool FC fans in protest against the Royal Bank of Scotland” and the Liverpool Way website forums.

was thinking more about hicks and gillete, sos, fans protests etc whilst stuck in traffic on the way home last night.

What i came up with was - firstly, everyone agrees the yanks are cunts......what little i know of them, they are ruthless snidey business men that don't give a ****e who's back they break to get a dollar.

With that in mind, i wondered how fan protests etc effect them. I don't think they give one tiny little **** about SOS, fans shouting yanks out, in fact if anything - it problem makes them think "**** 'em - i'm going to hold onto the club as long as possible just to piss the *******s off just because we can, and we're cunts."

The way I see it - the yanks will only go for two reasons, and imo i don't think SOS or protests as they are at the moment and this season will have any effect on those reasons.

1 - they get the offer they want!! SOS would probably celebrate this as a victory, but it will be the yanks laughing all the way too the bank.

2 - The banks take the club of them or force them to sell - a victory for SOS?? imo the banks won't be influenced into this decision by anything other than the financial reasons.

With this in mind I thought - what could or should be done? - As people know, i have not agree with some of the things SOS have tried - and then it hit me.................SOS want the yanks out........why don't they turn the attentions too the only 2 factors that might actually work................I have been told that they are very professional at the top (sos) have good contacts, professionals etc involved..........why not change tactic and instead of being so aggressive, try and be more business minded and professional. The club are obviously ****ing up - why don't SOS try and align themselves with takeover bids, attempt to make contact with the parties interested in the club, sound out investment, see what is on the table - and then present it too the club and the banks and say look!! we have it here in black and white, these are the best xxx amount offers you are going to get.

I think then, the majority of reds who haven't paid attention to the protests etc - might go hhmm, your right, the offers are there, the plans are there, there is 2 or 3 or however many people in interested in buying the club!!! the banks/clubs have too take note.......i think SOS's support would triple in numbers if they presented two or three 'solid' alternatives.

By this time I had arrived home

Oh - i do like the idea of the differend coloured shirts, no sponsors logo etc, they would make a much better 'fans' statement imo then what i agree how craig put it "stamping feet in a tantrum"
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I'd do it if i knew the ground would be empty, but it wont. And the club wouldnt be that arsed i dont think because i, like however many other ST holders there are, have already paid anyway.

Really like this idea of the Shirts..how the **** didn't anyone think of this sooner

On that point...maybe it's worth getting in touch with protest groups who've been doing things like this for years...see what the staples are as far as ways of doing things...merchandise etc, or just do some research to see how 'the pro's' go about protesting....and making their point.

See what works best in similar situations to ours. What might make our owners squirm.

It's the wording that get's me.

                    "Yanks Out"

                    "Not welcome"

Like they give a rats ass, someone needs to come up with something more damning, more hard hitting than that.

In an ideal world the wording should read along the lines of

"Fu*k off you fat greedy fat amercian supersize mcdonald eating bas*ard*!
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

whatever we say about them isn't going to bother them - something like

"FOR SALE" or "SAVE US" would probably work better

It's not a bad idea that actually mate, better than what's already been quoted that much is for sure.

"Save us" is a good one.

aye - i just thing it would be nice to move away from the doom/gloom and tantrums, and try a different tactic - in fact i reckon a 'Save Us' type message would appeal a lot more to those many many liverpool fans who don't follow sos than the hardline "yanks out" ??

Altho a blue shirt would definitely be noticed...and a sea of blue shirts would get the camerman's interest!

But no, blue is not for us.

I think it would be better to go for an existing shirt. The corinthians wone one is a good idea, by they wear white or black and white.
