Luisao should have been sent off for the reckless tackle on Torres, but Babel took the emphasis away from the initial foul. You can't push an opposing player in the face. Last night Babel's stupidity cost us the game. The referee was obviously looking for any excuse to punish us, why make it so easy for him?

I have slated babel in the past but last night he was unlucky imo, he has come out and made the right comments so i am willing to let this one slide.

On the other hand he still has a long way to go to become a first eleven player at Liverpool football club and unless he gives us a marked improvement before the end of the season he should be sold.

He has upped his game recently though and these latest comments are positive, we need to back every player until the end of the season imo.

I'm not remotely interested in apologies, I want us to have the best chance of winning and having thick *******s like Babel playing for us does not help. I can forgive someone like Mascherano for losing his cool sometimes - it's his style of play and I wouldn't want him to be any other way. Babel is a lazy disinterested cunt and getting himself sent off for nothing is just plain stupid.

It was naiveity from Babel but he was the only one who stood up to the treatment Torres got from Luisao. I'm just disappointed Babel didn't knock Luisao out and make him lose some teeth.

LOL. For a change iv actually been impressed with his attitude. He's been giving it his all the past month or so. He is getting his chance now, I would expect him to start again on Sunday and hopefully he will deliver. If this run of games continues then the goals have to flow

based on what exaclty. his improved performances, his improved team spirit, his obvious improvment in attitude ( last night he was sent off granted but it was a wank decision by the ref and to me i was happy to see babel give a **** and back up his team and teammates ) or are you basing this on past behaviour. i'll admit i'm a huge babel fan but i am the first to admit he is not the world greatest player BUT he does have the potentia to be a great player for us and he is obviously a passionate guy as all his outbursts have come when rafa was giving him no support, encouragement or reasons for dropping him from the team.
