You can’t compare Rafa to Fergie. It’s like comparing Ron Atkinson to Bob Paisley.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostI'm wondering in what circumstances does Ferguson take off Rooney when his side isn't winning and Rooney isn't injured. That's right, there are none such circumstances.
To answer your question – If Utd were chasing a game and really needed to win, Fergie would sacrifice a defender or midfielder and bring on a second striker. There’s no way he would sub a world class player like Rooney. That’s the major difference between the two managers – one wants to win at all costs, the other does not want to lose.Another MASSIVE game

The Everton are a poor team, based on their overall level in comparison to Ngog's end product he would not be good enough to make the starting 11 for Everton.Originally posted by tiktu View PostYakubu wouldn't get ours, what's the point?
Seemed logical to me.
What has Yakubu got to do with the price of fish then?Winning an argument on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win you are still a retard!

Point being if he is not good enough to get in the Everton team what makes anyone think he is good enough for LFC? Your point about Yakubu has no merit as he was not even mentioned as everton are nowhere near the club we are.Originally posted by tiktu View PostYakubu wouldn't get ours, what's the point?

It surprised me when I saw him being replaced but then we had our best spell of the game and I think it justified the decision. I think the Birmingham defenders had Torres in their pocket and they couldn't cope with Ngog's movement when he came on.Originally posted by liverpooltj View Postif it's such an act of tactical genius to take Torres off, just don't start with him then we can play well for ninety minutes eh? Fact is he's proven time and again he can come up with a goal from nowhere when he's having a ****e game. Has Ngog?

Most fans on here would agree Gerrard has had a disaster of a season by his standards, and many would question why he hasn't been dropped or subbed when playing badly. By those same standards should Torres be exempt if he's playing ****?
For the record though I thought it was A ****ING CRAZY DECISION in a must win game.
CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP CLAPCLAPCLAPCLAP DALGLISH!

I'm done with it all now though I hate to say it.

What difference? He couldn't offer anything in the 70 minutes he was on today. It was mediocre at best, why pinpoint Ngog?Originally posted by Gazmo1 View PostWhy not just say that instead of being a drama queen?
Besides, I'd rather have a Torres enduring a bad game than an Ngog having a stormer.......the difference is quite remarkable.

You used Ngog as a specific example as to why Torres was so ****e today. That is why Ngog has been used as an example.Originally posted by PeteBest View PostWhat difference? He couldn't offer anything in the 70 minutes he was on today. It was mediocre at best, why pinpoint Ngog?
Do you not even understand your own arguement now??Winning an argument on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win you are still a retard!

Oh bollocks, he has had our 2 best finishes in over 20 years and you spout this unintelligent dribble based on one poor season.Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostRafa does not have the mentality to be the manger of LFC!

I am allergic to fish so I couldn't care flying **** about that but maybe Scooter can answer on how much is the fish..Originally posted by Gazmo1 View PostWhat has Yakubu got to do with the price of fish then?
Anyways we made a change, N'Gog came on and made the difference. Babel, Maxi and Gerrard had their changes but only Gerrard scored once. Torres wasn't near at his best today, didn't beat players, seemed tired. Maybe we should have started with N'Gog instead of Kuyt, maybe we should have started with Babel instead of Benny. Maybe the fish's price is too high.
Too bad we had to change Torres to N'Gog to get opportunities Torres might have buried.
