    May 1st

So, come Saturday the 1st of May, Chelsea visit Anfield and will be chasing the EPL title. If the scenario is such that Chelsea need all 3 points to take the title and we would need all 3 points to get 4th, what would you want, knowing that if we were to win we would be handing a big advantage to Man Utd, what would you want the result to be?

Personally, I'd hate to see the Mancs take it, but lets be realistic here, they'll take it soon anyway so we're only postponing the inevitable and LFC need European football, so I'd take the 3 points.

So what would you want to happen that day?

Honestly, I think it's irrelevant. We will lose regardless and I no longer give a **** especially given it will stop the Mancs.

We should worry about our own position. Let's face it, Utd are going to get to 19 long before we can.

The same situation happened more than a decade ago when we had to play Blackburn as they fought out the league to United. We won, United drew and Blackburn won the league. I don't care about the mancs, I only care about us.

Managed by the same man people question whenever mentioned as being a successor to Rafa. Took Blackburn from the 1st division to the EPL in season one, to 4th in the EPL in his second year, 2nd in his 3rd and won it in the next.

What's your point mate? It was well documented at the time that Jack Walker bankrolled that Blackburn team to success, then when the money dried they fell from grace rather quickly. If you think that another manager will do better under the current circumstances then I think you're deluded, no offence.

Liverpool FTW. Always, no matter what the scenario.

Not really making a point, just that some people seem to laugh whenever Dalglish is mentioned as being a possible replacement. I'm not sure if they know what he actually achieved. Walker bankrolled Blackburn yes, but its still an impressive achievement and you still need to be a quality manager to actually win it. Dalglish chose the right players with the money, and kept them motivated and set his teams out to win. A lot of people seem to think he's a joke candidate (not you) which is wrong.

Possibly he wouldn't do any better, perhaps we would've won more games this season with his formation, who knows for sure though?

I think Dalglish is past it, lost it at Newcastle then Celtic (not sure where he went first). He was a bit clueless at both clubs despite having a fair bit of money to play with. He's a legend no doubt but I'd rather not want him back here as it may turn sour very quickly and his achievements of the past for us need not be clouded.

They were both very short periods though, but granted Newcastle was particularly bad, but then everyone is allowed one bad season aren't they
