IMO Dalglish would be okay as a caretaker manager - no great pressures and no need to plan for the future, just a simple morale-booster until the end of the season (for example).

So, come Saturday the 1st of May, Chelsea visit Anfield and will be chasing the EPL title. If the scenario is such that Chelsea need all 3 points to take the title and we would need all 3 points to get 4th, what would you want, knowing that if we were to win we would be handing a big advantage to Man Utd, what would you want the result to be?

Personally, I'd hate to see the Mancs take it, but lets be realistic here, they'll take it soon anyway so we're only postponing the inevitable and LFC need European football, so I'd take the 3 points.

I wouldn't worry about it mate, I very much doubt that the scenario of which you speak will come to fruition on the date in question, unfortunately.

As for Manure taking it sooner or later, I believe that they will start going down the same road we are heading down at the moment unless the Glazers allow them to spend quite a lot of money. They have, sooner or later, got to replace Neville, Scholes and Giggs in one go and seeing as, it would seem, they only made a profit at the end of last season by selling Ronaldo I wouldn't expect that to happen any time soon. It would appear the Mancs have been blessed with greedy ****s just as we have.

Utd not getting title number 19 is the most important thing for me.

If they don't do it this year, I think they may struggle in the coming years. City will be a much stronger force as will Arsenal. Them not making it this year is vital.

Is us getting 4th vital? If Rafa stays because of it then its a no for me. We need the money though, but where will that go? To the owners. 4th is vital to keep hold of our best players but Torres aside I think the others will probably stay, well the ones we want to anyway.

Its a mess of a season and there's obviously pro's and con's of us getting 4th. But none are more than stopping the Mancs having the bragging rights forever more.

we should go for the win no doubt. I would want liverpool to beat chelsea even if it meant handing an advantage to Utd.
